User Management

Mappin’s user access control can be used to create additional administrator accounts and also for restricting access to Mappin projects.

Additional Administrator Accounts

By default, there is a single administrator account called admin. Administrator accounts can be used to log into Mappin’s Administrator Interface and change project settings. Administrator accounts can be used to administer any/all projects.

If multiple users will administer Mappin, it’s recommended that each administrator have their own account.

User management will be included in future Mappin releases but for the time being, if you need any additional administrator accounts, please contact the Mappin Support Team who will be happy to arrange this for you.

Restricting Project Access

Mappin projects can be set as public or private. Public projects are visible to anyone whereas private projects are only visible to authenticated users.

User management will be included in future Mappin releases but for the time being, if you need to restrict project access to specific users, please contact the Mappin Support Team who will be happy to arrange this for you.
